“Tucked away in the crevices of culture and tradition, was this vintage trunk, one that stored years of artisanal history, nostalgia and pieces of perfection.
It was only until one fine evening, Vanshika & Parul decided to unfurl this mystery. As we cranked open the old, dusty trunk, The Loom Lane was born.
The vintage trunk belonged to our grandmother and her peers and was rich with handcrafted sarees, jewellery and everything handloom.
Every saree narrated a story that was unique.
The craft, the artistry and the fabric, all sat together like a masterpiece waiting to be discovered. At that very moment, we decided to share heirloom masterpieces with the world.

Our design sensibilities are inspired by India and its stellar craftsmanship. We work directly with artisans from all over India to source pure handloom textiles. The beauty of handloom lies in its humaneness, the very nature of it being woven on a loom. Weavers, with their bare hands, work relentlessly to produce an authentic piece.
What comes with it are the human impressions – an extra knot, unfinished yarn, double print, a tiny tear. It’s beautiful how handloom is closer to authenticity than to man made perfection.
